ASOBANU - Asociación de Bananeros Unidos

In 1998, several banana farmers from the northeastern region of the Dominican Republic formed ASOBANU to sell their harvests directly to international markets and thus participate in and benefit from Fair Trade. Located in an area that thrives primarily from banana production, ASOBANU has significantly improved the living standards and trade conditions for its members, workers and community. ASOBANU is dedicated in providing high quality beans to consumers and has been Fair Trade certified since it's inception.
