A carrotmob, much like what we refer to as a flashmob here in the United States, took place in Sweden on Valentine's Day 2010 to support and celebrate Fair Trade Certified flowers. Organized by our Swedish counterparts, this carrotmob involved a huge group of people gathering in a store to purchase these flowers on a massive scale. Not only do their collective efforts directly benefit hundreds of flower farmers all over the world, but it also makes for an awesome and meaningful media message for all to see.

In the wake of civil war, the farmers of Sierra Leone have struggled a great deal to produce and sell high quality coffee.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with chocolate!
